Blocked Tubes
Good morning ladies, how are we today? hope your all well.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone has blocked tubes and what the procedure is to unblock them, both mine are blocked, but where i am living will not unblock them for me, say its a waste of money and that i'm too old, I have read on line that there is a herbal remedy for this and wondered if it worked?? any info would be appreciated.

too old omg you are only 33, i dont know what the procedure is or if any herbal remedies help with it, i would be going to have a second opinion though,
33 isnt too old at all considering a lot of women wait til around that age maybe a little older before ttc.

Hi ladies thanks for such quick response, That's exactly what i thought, but what with having ivf tx clearing my tubes wern't top of my list so to speak, and kind of put it out of my mind, of course until now and i want to persue this to see if i can indeed concieve naturally. might be a pie in the sky thing but at least i can say i tried everything i could to try and concieve naturally. Been on other forums and the majority of people who have had tubes cleared or attempted to have still had to do ivf as wasnt successful, but we will see.Thanks for the link marlena will check that out straight away.

I went to my doctors to discuss fertility tuesday just gone, have a appointment to see nurse tomorrow for general test's, i.e std'd smear as doctor has refered me to teh hospital will take 6 weeks, in meantime wants to rule out obvious first, what can i expect to happen what will they do at the hospital on first visit ?

I had a friend who uses Chaste berries and wild yam root the doctors told her she would never conceive and withing 8 weeks of taking those herbs she fell pregnant.

I was using Vitex, aka chaste berries, but when I found out about the Endo I stopped. I know a lot of women that have conceived with it. It's supposed to be like Clomid, and I think they use chaste berry in Clomid.

what herbal remedy did you hear? i have heard 2 things- 1. red clover tea and 2. herbal tampons. these are weird;)
i am trying the tea.
I have one blocked tube due to thick mucus. a few years ago i didn't have blocked tubes so i know my condition has gotten worse. :(
I wish i knew some way to unblock the darn things. like plunger or something?? hahaha.
don't give up.
ps- what are u blocked from?

Hi Amanda, hope your well today?, anyway your first appointment will be pretty much like going to see the nurse, discussions mainly, remember any questions you want ask him/her write them down as the closer you get to the appointment you mind may go blank, oh and of course i will expect yyou will have the standard scan, not the tummy one but the internal one, which is just like a smear but you get to see your bits on the screen, wishing you well on your ttc journey.

Again thanks Rachael, my tubes are blocked from endo, why did you stop taking them? is this a problem for people with endometroiosis?, clomid done nothing for me, but hey anything is worth a try.

How long have you been trying the tea for? sorry to hear about your blocked tube, yes i agree there should be something out there for us ladies seen as so many of us have trouble with blocked tubes, i know i'm gonna make myself a millionaire, and design something heeheehee, anyway my tubes are blocked from endometriosis. I still have hope, and i know that one day i will have a child of my own even if i am old and wrinkly heeheehe.
