fertility/pregnancy history: haven't had any children, but my husband has 2 girls from a previous relationship. We've been trying for about a year, and still no luck. All, and I mean ALL, of our friends are pregnant, and it's a little frustrating.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to say that on friday afternoon I got a BFP. Of course I didn't beleive the first one so I took 2 more and they were all positive. I was 7 days overdue for AF so I finally decided that I should test, and ta da!!! Yipee. My DH and I are so excited and happy, especially because today(Oct. 27th) is our First Wedding Anniversary. The best present anyone could ever give. My first appt will be on Novem. 11th, and if all goes smoothly our baby will be born around June… Continue

Man, has it been a bumpy ride!!

Well everyone, sorry it's been so long since I've been on. It's been pretty crazya round our lives. First of all my hubby and I started infertility testing back in late July. So far all of my blood test came back in the standard ranges, my hubby however had a low Sperm Count. So they referred him to Urology, where they are doing further testing. I'm just wondering if anyone has had the same results, and if so, can you tell me what the next steps/tests that you had to do were? Just wondering… Continue

At 9:02am on October 19, 2008, Twinkletoes said…: Hey honey welcome back, long time no see, but like you say TTC is a long and bumpy ride, my dh was first diagnosed with low sperm count, but wsnt referred to a urologist, Cons wanted to try some changes first, I.e give up smoking which he done, and cut down on beer intake, not that we drunk much anyway, Zinc and Selenium Vits, along with L Carnatine and L arganine were daily tablets after a shower bath, cold water put you know where lol, and overall eat healthily and after a month improved his sperm by more than double, therefore didnt need to go any further but just continue with the vits etc, sorry cant help with other tests etc, but hope things are sorted soon.
